Exciting invitation from our columnist,  Mama Donna Henes!

Dear Friends,

Once again, I will be leading the famous Greenwich Village Halloween Parade with blessings. The idea is to perform a ceremony that will transform the streets from their secular state into pathways of sacred ground. The blessings will be for the safety and sanctity of the city and all of its inhabitants.

I am recruiting more members for our "Blessing Band" to join in this wonderful work. Last year there were 35 of us. I am looking to double that number this year. We will lead the parade along the entire route offering blessings of connectivity, community, and peace.

We will be all in white and silver to symbolize the purity of our intentions. We will clear negativity with bells and distribute blessings with smudge (fire, earth, air) and bubbles (water) as well as glitter for joy.

Anyone is welcome to join this ritual, BUT in order to be accepted, you MUST be willing to commit a couple of hours on two days for planning and rehearsal. In addition to the time commitment, everyone must contribute $30. (or more if you can afford it) to cover the cost of the huge quantities of supplies that we will require to bless the crowd of 2-3 million people.

The meeting dates are:
Saturday, October 18 at 2pm
Sunday, October 26 at 2pm

If you are interested, please contact me by email: cityshaman@aol.com
or by phone: 718-857-1343.

This is great fun, and also very spiritually significant. A great opportunity to create and share positive energy.

 With bounteous blessings,  xxMama Donna
